First things first: do you LIKE low rise pants? If yes, go for it! If not, don’t worry about it!
What I suggest to my clients is only to adopt a trend if and when it feels good to you. So that’s the first question to ask yourself.
If you decide you like the trend and want to experiment with it - the next question to ask yourself: will this type of pant look good on my body type?
If you are a woman who has more full hips and thighs, chances are - you will not feel your best in a lower rise pant as they will sit on your hip and further accentuate that part of your body. However, if you have a fuller hip and/or thigh and want to try this trend - opt for a more relaxed style or a flare as the width at the bottom of your body will work to visually balance out the fullness around your hip and thigh.
If, let’s say, you’re a more rectangular shape and straight through your midsection - then low rise pants will likely look fabulous on you!
